Wild Violets

Wild violets are a viney-type broadleaf weed that is extremely difficult to control. Some people actually plant these in their flowerbeds because they spread quickly and have pretty little flowers in the spring. NEVER do this! They will escape your flowerbed and you will never be rid of them! If you ever want to plant something else there, you will still have wild violets coming up.

You will see wild violets from the early spring through the fall. They are very aggressive, and they like shaded, moist areas.

If you have a wild violet problem, we will recommend our grassy weed applications for your first year on our service. No one wants to pay for extra applications, but for the first year, it will be worth it! Our main objective is to get the weeds out, and we know that you want the quickest results possible. Wild violets require repeated applications to accomplish this, so you will have several applications back-to-back, possibly just a week apart. If this is hard on your budget, please feel free to take an additional 30 days to pay, or contact our office to make arrangements.

We treat wild violets with a special post-emergent weed control.
